Just Riding Our Bikes

Just Riding Our Bikes is a book based upon a couples travels from journeying across the world on their cycling adventures. This was an intriguing design project for our team, which allowed us the creative autonomy to display images of some of the most speculator landscapes from all over the world. Early on in the layout process, we acknowledged that these images should be displayed in a way that they could be visually enjoyed by the reader with the credibility that they deserved. At a book size of 297mm square, these final result of the book was successful and the images are truly beautiful to look at.

From the initial client supplied photography, we took the images and created a unique layout to really exaggerate each of these excellent photographs in the most visually pleasing way possible. In some cases, we produced full bleed pages to give maximum impact. At Chandler Book Design, we can fabricate a creative design utilising the clients supplied images and produce something very unique for the reader to enjoy. Our process allows our design team to reconfigure the clients work in a visually aesthetic way, so that they can concentrate on more important things – the writing!
