Adrian Bloom is a gardening author and at aged 84 this is his first children’s book … He has a long standing relationship to the Californian High Sierra’s Redwood, Sequoiadendron giganteum having planted a seedling from California in sight of his house in England in 1964. 2024 is the 60th anniversary of that planting and the 2ft. ‘tree’ Adrian planted has now come of age and grown to over 100ft high. Well worthy of at least one Wow!
